Safety & Quality
The part of the jobnobody sees.
Safety and quality are the same discipline pointed in two directions: doing the work properly, and proving that you did.
Safety
Everyone goes home
Every crew member works to a documented site-specific safety plan. Hazard assessments are completed before work starts and reviewed whenever conditions on site change.
Trained and current
Working at heights, WHMIS and site-specific orientation are kept current across our workforce, with records available to general contractors on request.
Coordinated with the site
We work inside the general contractor's safety program rather than around it — attending site meetings, respecting hot-work and confined-space procedures, and keeping our own work areas clean.
Quality
Specification first
Assemblies are built to the drawings and the fire, acoustic and structural ratings they call for. Where a detail is unclear we ask before we build, not after.
Inspected in stages
Framing, board and finish are each checked before the next trade follows. Catching a problem at framing costs hours; catching it after paint costs weeks.
Deficiencies closed out
We walk the work with the contractor, take the list, and close it. A project is not finished when the boards are up — it is finished when the list is empty.
