02 — Commercial

Spaces the publicmoves through, finishedto survive the trafficand still look new.

Commercial interiors are judged in seconds and used for decades. Each building type carries its own demands — privacy, acoustics, hygiene, traffic — and we build to the one in front of us rather than to a template.

How we work

Delivering commercial work

No two commercial fit-outs ask the same thing. A bank needs privacy at the counter and sightlines everywhere else. A restaurant needs a room that stays comfortable when it is full and loud. A hospital needs assemblies that can be cleaned without degrading. The board is often the same product; almost nothing else is.

Much of this work happens in occupied or partially occupied buildings, which changes how it has to be run. Off-hours scheduling, dust and noise control, protected egress, staged handovers floor by floor — the constraint is rarely the installation itself, it is delivering it without shutting the building down.

We take a level of finish as a specification, not a preference. Where a wall will carry raking light, gloss paint or a large-format covering, it is taped and sanded to the level that condition actually needs, and we say so at tender rather than discovering it at deficiency walkthrough.
